My car is a Ford Escort GTi (1.8 Zetec)

Its ok for speed ,but just not exciting enough !

I am wondering about throttle bodies and if they are a good idea ?

I would like to know :

What I need ?

Rough cost ?

My engine is on 93k , so would it need rebuilt etc to be tuned ?

need tb's loom sensors management.
looking at about £2000 new + mapping which will be down to who u use.
93k is nicely run in on an engine that has been looked after ie oilchanges on time etc but maybe getting tierd on a shed thats been abused.

IMO, after seeing a few, for the £££ to power output alot of fords engines seem to be poor

speak to broster though, as he may have a better idea, or suggest a turbo'd lump of some type
