Most likely a f10 yeah.
Altho some later ones had f13's.
Check for casing for a stamp, usually under the selector fork.

Theres both, ive had 4spd f10's and 5spd.

O right, so where abouts does it the the gearbox code?
Obviously F10 is shorter ratio?

F10 is just the box name. It relates to how much torque the box can take.
The Final drive and cluster details is stamped in the end of the gearbox, might need a wire brush to be able see the stamp.
