Alright, just had some problems with my corsa today (1.6 Sport).
I havent experienced them before. I've just came back today from spain (been away for a week, but surely that doesnt have anything to do it?).
When I am in neutral, handbrake on, the car revs its self and it sounds as though its about to cut out...
The car shudders when coming off from first gear.
I've asked a few people, some say dodgy clutch ? and others have told me the accelarator is stuck?

Throttle position sensor
Idle air control vavle
Mine does it too mate 
It is most likely to be one of the above sensors on the throttle body^
Not the clutch

TPS and ICV.
I had the same problem, replaced the above and it went, no problem.

Ahh. Thats a weight off my mind.
Just paid out £99 today for 6 months tax, that was a hole in the pocket.
Night Out tonight, Birds birthday tomorrrow, night out on friday.
The bank balance isnt looking healthy... but at least I wont have to pay out Hundreds on a new clutch or whatever.

Try Autovaux for the TPS and ICV.
