Is it the box that makes the difference in sound?

as i have two 12's in a huge box but when one the 12's was in a single box it seemed to pump alot more

dont wanna go buy another box and it sound exactly the same, any help welcome

When you run 2subs they should be seperated in the box.

Its the size of the box too the determines how low or punchy the sub is.

Ask on www.talkaudio.co.uk and they will help you out. Im thinking of making a box for my sub to get optimum bass out of it
