After not having my corsa working for a long time, I just got it back from the garage, reversed it into&down my drive and smelt burning, got out to have a look and realised that there was a rip all the way down my tyre, basically it has 17inch rims, which are spacered out about 2cm, the original arches have been cut so it is not that, the rip was caused by the car bodywork so I dont know if its safe to cut the lil bit away, its only about 1cm x 2cm high but help would be appreciated?

Cheers!

Im not at home atm, but the spacers are about 20mm, it has a prowler wide arch kit so! im not sure on the offset of the wheels could be the problem though!

Need some wheels that fit to the standard hubs without spacers (or very little ones) that would still reach out to the arches? any ideas? and would cutting away this little bit affect anything??
