removed my induction kit today and drilled my old airbox and fitted that. there doesnt seem to be much of a sound difference though. ive been told that small holes would make it raspy and large holes would make it sound beefier. ive drilled random holes about 5mm big. are these to small to make a change in noise?
also its probably just me but since doing this the car feels like its pulling alot better around 3k rpm.

I drilled my airbox once and it just got louder and louder. It was a laugh to start off with then it just pissed me off...

I was told before I did it that the holes should be about the size of a 10p coin and that would make it sound deeper.
I got tiny holes about the same size as you in mine too they only really make a difference in noise when I'm going 30 - 40mph in 2nd gear.
