No-one ever seems to post in the Ice & Electrics forum, so ill post here.
I got a nice CD player off a mate for nothing, as something is wrong with it. Its really, really quiet, you can only really hear anything when the volume is maxed.
Will this be the internal amp of the CD player bust, or just wiring?
For example, I noticed on the wiring harness that a blue wire was broken, will this affect it?

my mates cd player was wel quiet and that was because a blue wire wasnt pushed into a connector block properly.

yea have you tried pushing the wires into the back of it just to make sure there isnt a loose connection? i assume your old audio used to work fine?
