Hi there I see quite a lot of people out there are dropping red tops into their corsas. I have been thinking about the idea, but I am aware that there can be problems. I was wondering would I be better just dropping the engine and hopping for the best, or is there much power to be bored outa the 1.2 16 valve 1999. Wot sorta methods wud be used to get me the extra power and would it compare to the red top at all. I am willing to spend a good bit of money but not over bout 1200 which i got quoted for the engine conversion.

tuning a 1.2 is dead money
1.6 transplant is an idea and then tuning
but 2.0 is the best way to get more bhp faster
