hit it with a big hammer.

or just prise it out carefully with a small screwdriver and replace with one from a scrappys if you cant fix it.

so its not electrically operated? because literally it has jammed over night? no movement from left to right

Mines feeked, give it a flick and all the lights go off... I think the trickis with a small screwdriver!
