Just bought a 1.0l corsa for the missus to learn to drive in, recently noticed a problem. When you pull away there is like a lag. when u put your foot down, it will accelerate then die for about 2 sec then pick up again? only does that rarely. But the main problem is when im goin down a A road at around 55- 60 and put my foot flat to the floor, it dies and jumps on u and slows down to about 50. if u take your foot off and drive without it being flat to the floor its ok and the light goes off? it does this everytime you put your foot flat down?

Hard to explain, feels the same feeling your out of fuel. (and yes it has fuel in it)

Any help please

air mass sensor most likely...... 30 quid of ebay and peice of piss to fit..... happened to me

Another thing i have noticed, if u rev it on the spot to the floor, it revs up to about 4000 rpm (at a guess, dont hav a rev counter) pauses for 2 sec then continous to the redline

YEAH AIR MASS MATER,1.0 12V'S ARE KNOWN FOR IT.....piece of piss to fit but dont get one from vauxhall unless your prepared to be raped

yer, vauxhall r a no no! there is 1 on ebay for £26 + £6.50 p+p are they all the same for all corsa's old and new, cos the 1.0 is the newer engines?

I said EGR, Mass Air Meter or Lambda sensor before even opening the thread,

All weak points on the 12volts
