i have a 95 corsa GSI and the engine management light come on when under hard throttle. ive had numerous diagnostics done and all say 'EGR vavle fault' ive had the valve replaced 3 or 4 times but the light still comes on. Could it be an ECU fault? does anyone else know of this problem? if so i'd like your help! thanks lads.

probably an electrical fault. dont worry bout it. my car does things like this all the time

if you have had a new egr fitted and not cleared the ecu codes it will still show up disconect the batt for 15 min and that should do the trick.

Blankthe EGR off.. i dont know if that will sort the problem though. worth a try i guess

EDIT: What mac1976 said above actualy makes sense.. ignore my comment
