I'm not sure what suspension I have, but the layer on the coils is coming off, is this commen? I have a couple of pics to show what I mean,

is this a problem, or will they be alright, is the stuff there to protect them from mud and getting rusty?

yes the coating is to protect them from the elements and stop them corroding. But it will take a very long time for it to become an issue!

Yeah there ok, non adjustible damping coilovers, lots of people on here have them , i organised a group buy for them when i bought mine!
