Bought the missus a nice tigra tis got a nasty oil leak i have replaced the sump gasket and rocker cover gasket but still leaking coming from the rear of the sump ie running on to the box could it be the crank seal is it a common problem or sump cracked at the rear car is 1.6 16v R plate

having the same problem with my corsa mate, changed both rear main oil seal and rocker cover gasket. I've bought a new sump gasket to put on there but havent got round to doing it yet, in the haynes manual it says you have to apply sealing compound in several areas on the gasket, I'm hoping this could be the answer!

Thanks for reply mate am going to take the sump of again fit another gasket and this time apply loads of sealant driving me drip drip between the sump and the gearbox fly wheel looked dry when i did the sump gasket and it stoped leaking for 2 days now back again
