Mine catches dropped 40mm but it's cos I didn't fit it right and I am waiting for nicer weather to sort it.

I've had a load of trouble with my exhaust though. When I first fitted it it never knocked but it was blowing badly so tried again and again and again to stop it blowing and knocking but I gave up when weather started going bad (about September ). Currently still blowing and odd knock over bad bumps on my own, with a full car it knock if you drive over stone.

Back on topic though I think it should be fine as long as it's fitted properly. Mine was a cheapish one aswell from someone I'd never heard of. Never again.

Mine used to knock, But spend a abit of time on it, and you can adjust it from knocking easliy, just get's abit frustrating at times.
