Without melting my floor,
What can be used to prep the floor to remove the remander of the glue that is left?
I need to have the floor prep'd for paiting shortly so just wondering what would be best?
Any help would be great 
Also removing paint from the plastic cam cover, what is best for that?

On mine i put white spirit in a trigger bottle, like a window cleaner spray. Sprayed the whole lot left it to soak, its then alot softer and comes up easy!

Thinners or isopropyl alcohol.
Paint remover, nitromors.

A paint remover attatchment from halfords, its what i did

using a paint brush, go over all of it all with white spirit, let it soak in for a couple of minutes then wipe away with an old towel.
