Why do we have them?
I've seen people remove them... what does this do?
i.e. does anyone recommend removing them just so its one less thing to go wrong (mine is leaking anyway, the metal bit infront of manifold has split).
what do you need to do to remove, what are implications (fault codes???)

how do you remove it? and which bits do you remove?
i think my cat may be blocked so might be looking for a janspeed manifold and sports cat (my manifold doesn't have a great deal left in it)

why removing?
saves space, less noise
Why not removing?
saves time
how to remove?
unplug, unscrew, remove, close holes that are left..

all it does is add clean fresh air into you emmisions so that your emmisions are slightly cleaner slightly being the key word here u can remove these and plug up all the parts which are left and it will make space under the bonnet nothing more nothing less

been reading this and it suggests removing the secondary Air pump will make zorts gases more concentrated... running risk of emissions test failure? Or possible making Cat die quicker? (think it may need replacing anyways)

looks like it'll be coming off sometime then (probs when i replace the manifold soon).
no more electric buzzing noise when starting then. Which i guess is useless waste of power.
I take it i don't need to touch the EGR do i?
