can these be cleaned cos its yellowy from use its nothing bad ive seen others same thing just cant see bloody water level lol ive seen some well clean ones u can see through
can they be cleaned back to near new?

yes, i just did mine...left it overnight in a bucket on water and bleach...

one you fit back on do you just fill and run the car and then its done?

i flushed the rad completely, so refilled with 3l coolant and added water... just leave the cap off the header tank to remove any air
|

something that works really well is those bendy kitchen brushes that are on wire handles. bristles are dead stiff so you can go in through the cap hole and clean off all the grime.

when i cleaned mine i took it off the car left the cap on and poured white spirits in threw the bottom and shuk it up! did it a few times and it was like brand new!!!!!!!!!!!
