does anyone know where i can buy a universal middle box for my exhaust, i had a straight thru pipe fitted on wednesday and its way too raspy  so i was guna try and get a middle box to calm it down a bit, i like the sound but its just so damn raspy! any help would be sweet!

When i had mine fitted, it only sounded raspy when it was cold, when it warmed up it sounded ace with my magnex backbox. What backbox are you using ?
Why do you want a universal one ? I think you can get brand new ones for your car cheaply from eurocarparts.
In the end i changed it back to standard though as it was annyoing me when i drove anywhere far. I want the noise back now though lol.

its a magnex back box, and powerflow middle pipe but with no silencer, i like the sound but no matter how hot it gets its just raspy! iv seen some straight thru silencers on ebay but dont know what they are like?

I think the remus ones are supposed to be good. Mine was just a standard one with the box cut out and welded up that i bought for £10 lol.

Go to a powerflow dealer and they will be able to pop in a small composite exhaust silencer in your centre pipe. Will calm noise down a bit but wont cause too much back pressure.

powerflow, my local dealer did one for 50 quid, but then he does de-cat pipes for 30 and backboxes for 100 lol..

how much would i be looking to pay to get one of these silencers put in? powerflow did the middle section so will it affect my warranty?

cheers mate think il book it in on saturday just so it takes the edge of the noise, in all fairness they did warn me it would be loud/raspy but u learn fom your mistakes!
