Hi, my names Adam
I own a corsa sting 1.0 12v which i have recently purchased, i did own 2 corsa SRi's aswell, the first i bough for next to nothing and basically got all my mechanics skills from working on it, and my second was hopefully going to be put back on the road, but after 3 MOT failures it was time to give up. i cannot afford the insurance for a bigger engine, and the corsa i now own is in mint condition and perfect to learn to drive in(as i am nearly 17).
Heres its Stats:
1997 Corsa Sting(apparently its rare or a limited edition???)
1.0 12v
44k
In a rare light green metallic
will add pics in the day light tomorrow.

I really need some advice for the exterior.
I will take anyones opinions.
What i had in mind was smoked front and rear lights, kamei grill or steinmetz, and i am thinking of changing the wheels(any suggestions on which wheels then let me know) I currently have silver astra gsi wheels on there.
Anyway, will apreciate the help
cheers
Adam
(sorry i had to editthe post loads as the pictures got abit screwed!)

no that wont be happening for sure, the car gets me annoyed somtimes, sometimes im really into getting the new stuff for it, and sometimes i really hate the car and just think i should use it to pass my test and then when i turn 18 get a 1.6 sport and spend my money on that.
Being honest i prefer the second sri i had to this one, i kno the sri was old and bits fell off all the time, but i would enjoy working on it and going out everyday to do something to it.
But with this one it just sits on the drive and annoys me.
Thought i would never say that about a corsa but starting the 1.0 engine and have it run like its dieing for the first 20 seconds does get to ya.

I didnt realise you got rev counter clocks in certain 1.0 models.
If i was you i would go down the route of suspension then colour code the bumpers, handles ,etc.
Dont bother with an exhaust as all its gonna do is make a noise and there will be a very small performance gain if any with the 1.0

i believe as the Sting is Limited Edition they did add a tachmometer, sunroof and sport alloys all as standard.
the addition of an exhaust will only give sound. i too have a Sting and have a K&N and Irmscher Exhaust, its revs more freely but performance wise little effect....great sound though.
take a look in mt garage for my Sting colour coded.
welcome
