You cant open the bonnet(as far as i know) without pulling the lever inside.

Any way you could cut the quater window out? Just an idea. dunno if you can.

You CAN get the bonnent open without pulling the lever inside

Youjust end up with a cut and sore arm

you have to get under it and get ur hand up around the manifold and pull the catch from the inside.
