Is it generally more to put right?
obviously i know there are many differing factors that could happen when a belt goes but generally does it fuck a diesel up more?

the reply you would answer is
its impossible to answer there are many factors involved into weather it would be more damaged then a normal car but in principle it would be the same kind of damaging....

you fools i know this, but what im asking is, as i dont know anything about diesels, is it more likely to cause valve/cam/piston damage than with a petrol or are the risks the same

help zone
in answer to you question, I generally find that diesels suffer less damage than petrols as they are usually built stronger and there is usually more valve to piston clearance in diesel engines so less chance of bent valves.
