About a month ago my backbox on my corsa went kaput, the standard one and instead of having to pay for a new one my mate gave me one he had laying around. Its a 4" stainless steel one thats been fitted for a month, it sounds good but when i accelerate and if the revs go over say 3500 the sound goes like high pitched / scratchy type sound, its hard to explain suppose i could say it sounds like its hissing, does anyone have an idea of what it could be? or is it just because it was a cheap one
thanks

not sure, its weird it sounds good until the revs get over 3500 odd, engine is 1.4 16v, i was just thinking it could be coz the backbox is a cheap thing, its got no brand or nothing
