Anyone know the smtp to use?

Tried:

mail.btinternet.com
mail.btopenworld.com

Both don't work on mt cs and ajsolutions e-mail accounts but work on my BT e-maill account.

it is mail.btinternet.com
thats what i use when i need to set up outlook express etc or it might be pop3 i cant remember not at home to check either

login to your yahoo acount online go into mail - my acount and you will find under the email heading. "Configure my email client settings" and Setup Authenticated SMTP click on these two and it will setup your account up automatically


manual setup.

Open Outlook Express, click [Tools] then select Accounts
Click the [Mail] tab, then click [Add] and select Mail
The wizard will start. Type in your name then click [Next]
Enter your email address (yourname@btopenworld.com or yourname@btinternet.com) then click [Next]
Enter the BT Yahoo! mail server address: mail.btinternet.com then click [Next]
Enter your username and password then click [Next]
Click [Finish]
To complete the account creation process click [Tools] then select Accounts
Click the [Mail] tab, then click [Properties]
Click the My server requires authentication box to place a tick inside. Click [OK]

all the mail and help stuff is online you just need to login to your account at http://bt.yahoo.com

You trying to use BT mailservers as a relay for other email accounts?
I don't think they allow this no more. I'm sure they can only now be used for BT internet customers.
