I'm thinking of having a go at spraying my bumper when it comes. I feel confident in doing it myself as i have sprayed small bits with rattle cans and the results were really good. can you hire paint guns? i'm good with bodywork (as in using fibreglass etc) but never thought about spraying myself. what are the pros and cons of doing this? and any advice would be great.

Practice is required and the chances of getting it right the first time are VERY slim!

a proper setup is going cost you £200 - £500+ its all the little bit what add up tho for the sake of one bumper its not worth it. It takes years of practice to spray properly what looks ok to you a pro would flat back again and redo
there was a post on here not so long ago by ed i think it was.
