Right, here'e the story. Was driving down the motorway in pretty bad rain (some people were sitting at 40mph, there's me in my 12v going 60mph, I felt really fast  ) anyway, as usual in the rain the car was misting up big time.
Naturally, the highets priority was to get the front screen cleared. Wacked the heater on full blast hot and didn't seem to make much difference, in the mean time I began to cook in the car. Anyway, as I couldn't see what with spray from other cars, out come the chamoix covered sponge to clear.
I then turned the heaters down, what begins to happen? More mist and I can't see again. Heat didn't work the first time so full blast cold - you'll never guess what, no difference. So more chamoixing was needed, trying to keep the steering wheel straight whilst vigorously cleaning the screen.
So, it's cleared, and after a while the mist builds up. I try luke warm air and more mist - you can guess what I did next...
Anyway, the main question from my boring tale, WAKE UP, is, have you got any tips on stopping the mist build up?!

Turn the heaters away from your face and towards the windscreen

Yeah, I suffer from bad misting somedays and other days its fine, I had the fans blowing on the windows etc. but still its stuggles to clear :S
i find a good old bucket o' hot soapy water and a nice clean cloth helps buff the windows and so they dimist quicker...

normal blowers wont clear mist really fast..so always have them set to the windows so you dont get this problem!
tryed using cold air?
iv got aircon so im fine...it takes the moisture out the air for you

The heaters were on the windscreen etc, I hate them blowing in my face, never have them doing that.
I also tried cold air, nothing.
Dad said to try having the window open a tad.

open your window will be cold but when your desperaste nothing clears it quicker

Replace your pollen filter. I used to have that problem, changed the filter and now it's much better.
And not because it hasn't left the garage for three weeks, I meant when it was still working.

It can be a right pain in the arse but as mentioned above, the quickest way is to open a window.
As long as you understand why the mist is happening you can remedy effectively....the glass needs to be the same temperature both in and out or else your breath/warmth will cause the condensation. Once cleared, stick your heaters on.

 Mine is nearly always on because I'm continously sitting in traffic. Have switched it over and seems to have made an improvement.

As already said, sounds like your pollen filter has got damn, so damp air is been blown into the car.
Replace it, or just remove it and bin it.
