I sorned my car off the road a few months ago as it where off the road any, and i am wanting to put it back on now! what do i need to do? do i just got and put road tax on it? anyone

take your v5 or log book with you and the usual stuff you need to tax it, i had a right ball ache trying to tax mine a couple of days after i sorn mine, i didnt know u had 14days to tax it before you have to delcare sorn  .. anyways i went to tax it with the usual stuff and they said they cant unless i have a log book, so when i phoned dvla they said they should be able to tax it without it, well they never and after 2 different post office's and 4 attempts between them i managed to find my log book wich my mum had hidden to keep safe lol

Check out the DVLA website - should give you some answers. I know you can tax online, however think that is just if you have a 'renewal' number on your reminder etc.
You will need insurance to tax your car though, which you may not have if it was off the road in a secure lock up.
