DIESAL TUNING
tried to put this in another part of the site but it wudnt let me post there
anyways i got a 1.7 Di corsa C year 2001 Y reg
NOTE*** not 1.7 DTi
anyways, put simply i know pap all about diesal tuning and performance upgrades so i have a few questions (bear with me if they sound silly i really dont know wat im tlkin about with diesal)
anyways, apparantly the car has a "low blow" turbo which i understand to mean it runs at a lower pressure than a regular turbo, anyone understand anythin bout this?
looking at improing its power, if this low pressure turbo thing is true, any iodeas wat i cud do to the turbo to improve power, without blowing it up though .....
secondly, i want a remap, but sum1 has sed its not a vauxhall engine and its in fact an old izuzu engine, and actually it has no ECU to remap and the engine is purely mechanical, anyone know anything about that either? ive only had the car a week or so and aint had time to look into this myslef yet, so any help wud be appreciated
and as a final question, assuming i cant tounch my ECU or turbo for watever reason (including them not actually being there lol) wat can i do? as i need more power and speeed from this little oil brurner car till i can afford to buy my real car, any ideas on other power improvements i cud get?
