it started 2 weeks ago when it was only JUST noticeable so i agnored it thinking it was nothing!!
yesterday on motorway i heard a clunking sound, like metal on metal (exhaust i thought ) and then i put my foot down, when hit about 70-80 the whinning/blowing sound was much louder and noticeable, but exhaust seems fine at idle or other speeds!!!!
and now in general it can be heard and is noticeable as speed gathers up, seems to come from rear left, but hard to pinpoint!! but is most noticable at about 70mph+
had the front 2 wheel bearings done 2 months ago also!! and a custom middle silencer and pipe to rear box fitted!!

Flatulence?
Sorry...I'd get the exhaust system looked at again mate.....weird how it happens at certain speeds but sounds like you need to check whether something has come loose.

im thinking also that it is the rear left wheel bearing too, what are the common signs for this??
is the rear bearings hard to replace yourself??
i was almost able to do the fronts my self but did not have any press machine to push bearing out with so had to put it all back together and take to garage lol!!
