I got bored earlier and decided to remove the induction kit from the car, cos it was really making the car bog down lower down the rev range, even if it did sound good on the car....
While I was at it, i noticed this reducer type thing on the top of the airbox, so that had to disappear sharpish !!! So I thought i'd do a little 'tutorial'...
So I took the best tool from the tool kit:

took one airbox top (notice the reduction in bore...)


knock the fook out of it and there you go, one 'un-restricted' airbox....

not taken it out yet, but i'll go put some petrol in, in a bit, so i'll see if it imrpoves the driveability of the car...

Yeah, i think the GSI one is slightly different...

it has more of a curly fixed inner tube below the actual panel filter, ripped it off mine and now sits on my desk as a pen holder
