Hey guys.. Jst wantin opinions.

Ive got 6x9s in the back jst now as they came with the car but i wanna get rid as they sound shoot. Ive got a sub in the boot and before people start moanin about rear speakers i always have people in the back so i still want there to be speakers in there..

So if anyone can recommend what to get.. jst lookin for sort of half decent budget ones.. coaxials probably.

id just get better quality 6 x 9's , if you get good ones then it should be fine

i have fitted 6x9's in my rear quarter pannels and im happy with them but if i had a chance again i would probably fit coax's in their place

i put mdf behind mine. If you take one of the pannels off you will see the shape of the metal behind it. Draw up a cardboard template of this and cut a peice of MDF to this shape. its not essential but it helps to stop them rattling etc.

is the top section of the card too shallow to house a speaker?

and do i need to take the plastic trim panels in the boot off to take the rear cards out?

some of the plastic has to come off but not all. As long as you take your time and make sure that you have all of the torqe star bolts out they are fairly easy to get out without breaking.

Also i think that the top bit is a bit too shallow. You might get away with some shallow 13cm components of something but it would be tight.
