iv just finished smoothing my boot and was just wondering if i put the reg plate on my standerd back bumper without it being illuminated is this road legal, as i thought that the plate has to illuminated?

Needs to be illuminated to pass MOT you'd probably be ok during the day, but if your spotted at night be prepared to be pulled over

look on ebay for a numberplate led light, i have just done the same, i got one that shines light like this /|\ and have mounted it behind the bumper and made a small hole just above the plate. works pretty well. wil get pics when it gets dark.
