hey im having trouble with my 1.2 8v corsa when i go round a corner qwite qwick then put my foot down in like 2nd gear or 3rd it stutters then kicks in and is only doin this when my petrol gadge just says below half mark but not sure if thats why i put a new fuel filter on and i got a k&n filter but it did it before that so i no it not that and ive run injector cleaner though the fuel and still no luck and the car dont seem that qwick most cars on the road will beat mine i got top speed of 80mph on a down hill some one please help me thanks

fuel surge.... never really heard of it on a corsa though.
When you go round a corner with some spirit, the fuel will slosh to the other side of the tank, and possibly away from the pickup for the pump.
Happens on my impreza when giving its beans sideways in second 
DO NOT push through it... lift of and let the car settle. The car will be underfueling quite badly other wise.
Speed - The 1.2 8v is very slow. When was the car last serviced? Properly? Plugs, oil, filters?

i had that problem with mine, only when below 1/4 tank though

ahhh right i thought it cud be the fuel pump aint working properly or something like that ive put all new plugs oil filter and fuel filter on not that long ago

whip the pump out and check it.... will prob have a wee sock filter thing on its pickup.... check if thats clogged.needing re-newed

ive just put a fuel pump from a scrap yard in and it is ok over half a tank of petrol but below it boggs out well bad and it is doin my head in now some one helppp
