And the dials around the cabin temperature and air flow switches don't iluminate either (including the rear window demister switch). Are they supposed to?

Tested the fuse and that made no difference but was wondering if the idiot (previous owner) disconnected things when he put in his replacement cd player. Hate to buy a replacement LED unit to find that stupid bugger just didnt fasten things back up right. He has defo had the unit out at some point because there were screwdriver marks across the top of the air vents indicating that he might have had access to the screws behind.

Any ideas? I can arm myself with a screwdriver and Corsa B Haynes Manual if necessary

They aren't lit by LED's. They are lit by normal instrument bulbs which have more than likely blown. Get yourself down to Halfords and buy some new blubs and pop them in... WOnt be anything to do with the old owner, it's just a bitch of a job to replace them and I have owned 3 Corsa B's now and none of them have had working lights

Best bet is to get your screwdriver out and your Haynes manual and prepare to get scratched up arms
