As above, i've just replace the headgasket on my cousins 1400 8v spi engine, but i didn't mark the dizzy position before i removed it, now i dont know where it was in relation to the cam housing before i removed it,Lol.
Could anyone take a pic of the top of their dizzy/cam housing for me, as there are no marks provided by GM.
Its the black type dizzy, not the red one.

adjust it with the engine running till it sounds right, you wont be far off

Got it up and running now.
I've told him get it set properly with a timing light at a garage.
Seems to run fine tho.
