Buying alex-gsi's complete c16xe (hopefully, if all goes well), will be getting the ports matched to the manifold and leaving the rest of the head alone..
the block will be getting arp rod bolts/crank - regrind/new bearings/rings and a bore hone.

and finally some steel idlers.


mantzel - currently looking out for1 on german ebay (anyone fluent in german??)
mild cams - waiting for a u2u back confirming postage

as i think this will be a pretty good starting point, what would be the next obvious step??..

ahh, forgot to mention ive already got the protech 4-1 on there lol...
yea L30, im after some steel idlers, maybe not sbd....but similar.

so, merriot...u recon a live map with raised limit?....
i should be able to do that with a dastek unichip shouldnt i? anyone know the rough torque/hp that the engine should give with all the above mods?

If you see the thread i have put up about MSD Re-maps, they seem reasonable. I know he has a good following on PassionFord.

I have been quoted £250 to re-map a standard ECU. Seems a bloody good price to me.
