Graphics card let it down. I'm running an old FX5200 as my 6600GT went down earlier.

IMO it looks like they swing a few tests to encourage you to buy stuff, funny how everything fails on the gfx card!

FFS we've got vista beta running on crappy 800mhz pcs with dog crap onboard gfx and it runs well enough

Graphics card is so you can run aero.

Vista doesn't need such a beast of a pc to run as people think.

Although to get any of the fancy stuff to run at decent speeds you need it to be a bit faster.

Sorry, your video card does not meet this requirement. You may want to upgrade to a computer that supports a PCI Express® (PCIe) bus type that would offer greater bandwidth at higher frequencies over AGP or PCI bus types.

all our new dell pcs we buy at work are marked vista ready, and they just have rubbish intel extreme onboard graphics, that test is conning you into buying a card, praying on peoples lack of knowledge and trying to scare them into buying stuff.

if it were independant then fair enough
