here goes, just bought a stock 1.4 sri and about to start to modify exterior. Inside will have to follow when cashflow allows.
Never done this before. Wish me luck 
Reading your message boards earlier and already found some info that will help.
So far, flush boot, got to get some new panels (some of mine are crap) combat wide kit, angel eyes and rear lexus lights, still got to order alloys (any ideas for around Nottingham mates?) shopping list keeps getting longer.
lol got to work out how to wire popper for boot!
now doubt speak soon (when I get in trouble)

Welcome mate
Have a look around in the FAQ section, lots of little hints for first mods etc. Got a page with all the kits etc, you might find another one you prefer to the combat 2 kit. Also have a look in the classifieds section for some bargins 
Boot popper can be bought from either LMF or supernovas, google them for their websites

 welcome, like matt says have a loom around
lots more stuff out there, and the look your going for is getting out of date quite quickly, so make sure you dont make a mistake, then again its your car so do what your happy with 
classfieds is a decent place to look for bargins
