Can anyone help me with this.
Dad drove my car on friday night and came back with smoke coming out of the driver side heater vent.

Looked at it today and found an earth wire from the crank shaft sensor completely melted all the way down the engine loom. It looks like when it gets so far inside the car it loops back on itself. Has melted all the rubber off the wire.

Anyway am gettin another loom but just wondered if anyone else had the same problem? the car was running but had a camshaft sensor fault code.

Also how easy is it to change the loom?
