orite every1, id just like to say im new to this forum and hello to every1
ive got a question for you all (if you no the answer that is)

on my corsa B SRi theres a wire with a plug on it when the wire isnt connected to the plug the engine management light stays on but when you connect it the light goes off when the car is started

the wire and plug are not connected to anywhere and are just hanging down, can anyone help me?

It'd probably help one hell of a lot if you said where this wire/plug were, what colour it was, where abouts it plugs in etc etc
It sound like a sensor has packed up, when you plug it in the ECU reads the fault, when it's unplugged it doesn't see it, but there are many many sensors that it could be

well its just hanging down at the moment, ill take a pic tomoz but it wont be the best of quality because it will be off my phone

Hanging down from where? the dashboard? the engine somewhere?

Map sensor? = 3 wires on 1 plug
