Car: 51 plate 1.2 16v Corsa C Comfort

Problem: When the car is warm after being driven for a while when you turn the steering wheel - even a slight bit - the car squeeks. The sound appears to be coming from the front hub area of the car. I thought this would be due to work brake pads, but I have just checked them and they are in servicable condition. However the disks looked worn, so I will be replacing them this week. Could that be the cause? Or is there something else to look out for, at the moment I'm a little lost.

I also checked for play in the front wheel bearings, they appear to be servicable too...
