will a decat pipe of a 1997 1.4 8v work with a 1999 1.6 16v sport?

or are they diffrent fitment or bore size?

different mate, different downpipe completely, plus decat on for the 8v is manifold and decat/downpipe as one unit, on the sport it isnt, hard to explain really but they are different
