basicly, my revs started sticking at 2500rpm when i pushed the clutch in, once the engine was hot, i took it to a shop, they ran diagnostic and come back with..

P0505 Idle Air Control Fault
P1640 Quad Driver Module

what needs to be done, is the throttle housing needs to be taken off, and both sides cleaned with solvent.

could i do this myself, or is it too much hassle? because i need every penny i got at the moment, and they cant fit the car in the garage till tuesday

any help apreciated, thanks

you can clean/change the icv you self its only 2 bolts clean it up with a bit of carb cleaner job done if it nackerd replace it you can pick them up of ebay cheap enuf

I take it you have a x14xe if so do a search under my user name for pic and info
