I have installed in my Corsa the following system,
1x Boss 1200w amp with multi feature sound, ie bass, bass/music or just music and in-built neons.
1x Sony XM-D1000P5 Digital Amplifier
2x sony explode 6x9's 230w each
In each door i have 1 tweeter, and one Sony explode 5x7
The head unit is a Kenwood KDC W6031
I can get the volume up to about 26 then it all starts to distort, which has suprized me as i thought with my current set-up i would be okay, dont get me wrong that is still pretty dam loud, but any idea's as to what part of the system is letting me down would be very much appreciated, cheers.

you wanna turn down the gain on your amp a bit

Have tried the gain and bass at every different setting there is mate, still get the same prob, cheers though

mb your headunit and/or amp are just too good for your current speakers, time to upgrade?
