okay after a lot of WD40 i finally managed to get the bots of that connected the exhaust under the car, but i was foolish to think it would be as simple as that!

you can see ive got the two on the right off, i dont need to take the left ones off as well do i?

on the other end of the backbox there are the bung things. now what i dont get is that the exhaust pipes require the exhaust to move to the rear of the car, and where the bungs are connected, they require the exhaust to move to the front of the car. how do i manage this? probably something really simpler but im a complete amature! cheers if you can help me

use some screwdriver as a lever...quite difficult sometimes, spray some WD40, it should come off if these are removed

disconnect it a bit further forward, then you can get the rubbers off and remove the centre and back pipes together.

once they're off the car you'll find it easier to split them.
you probably need to remove both clamps and then pry back the split section of the larger pipe to loosen the joint.

Hi,

I assume you mean the rubber exhaust mountings?

I cut mine off off with a stanley knife every 6 months as the heavier Powerflow exhaust went through them like sweeties!

I would recommend replacing them regularly anyway as Kwik Fit or similar will usually let u have 4 if you bung them a few quid. Just for peace of mind that you wont be stranded with a loose exhaust.

Hope this helps.
