Right I am looking at a couple portable hard drives at the moment and just wanted your opinion on them

First is a 160gb Seagate one from Maplin for £70
LINK

And the second one is a 320gb Toshiba one from PC world for £100
LINK

Now last night I spotted somthing of deffinate interest....
Its an Iomega portable harddive that acts as a media center, seems quite new as there is none on e-bay yet!
LINK

So out of those three what would you go for?
I like the idea that I can use the Iomega one to play stuff through my telly!! can be used as the media center type thing that I 'was' going to build

Any input is more than welcome, I am planning on ordering either of the first 2 in the next few days but if you recomend the third I will wait till they are more readily availible

Thanks

I use a Buffalo Linkstation to store all my music, videos, etc ,etc. Only things kept on my main HDD are installed programs. The linkstation plugs into my router and appears on my LAN. Easy to cary around and plug into other peoples networks! Also, using Ethernet interface...makes it faster than USB

Oh...and its got a wireless option too, so you can connect your files to your network without the cable...probably slow that way tho, but the option is there

Look into this aswell...lets you stack normal HDD's into this thing and make one massive external harddrive. Cheaper to upgrade the size in the future then
