Wow
The windscreen will have to be replaced by a pro, but the side glass just slots into place. It's reletively simple to do. With the window wound fully down and the rubbers out the glass will just slip into place.
Was it an attemted theft? Or were you with the car at the time? I think that TPFT insurance somtimes covers damage to a vehicle during an attempted theft...

i was with the car, me and a mate got done over by about 20 of our asian "friends". callin us white motherf*ckers n the police wont have it that it was racially motivated. my mate did the clever thing n ran past his car, id left my window open so decided against that, what pisses me off most is they will probably get away with it

I had my windscree replaced by a company called National Windscreens in Cardiff, but I'm not sure if they work nationwide, although from the name I guess they do.
It cost £100 fitted including VAT.
Just look in your yellow pages and ring around, me and my Dad got quotes ranging up to £350 for it.
Sorry to hear about the attack as well mate, hope they don't get away with it.

Clue's in the name.
I know it's only minor, but this is why I always go fully comp. No nasty financial surprises when things like this happen.
Probably wouldn't care in this instance though, I'd be fucking glad I was in 1 piece.
