Maybe this is the wrong area to post this but i've suddenly gained 'flat spots' in mid revs in all gears (4th and 5th). The AA couldnt find the fault after driving the car and revving it to fuck the chap said it could be fuel lines or fuel filter. its a 1.9 DIESEL polo mark 4 s reg. it smokes now like a beast but last night it was fine for 30 miles after i put 20 litres in (maybe shit fuel??)

Help please...
