The valve was turned off and still is once i installed the induction kit....and i still get NO flat spotts whatsoever, even in this HOT weather i havent suffered any lack of power...hopefully the opposite.

Saying that though i do have a couple of cold air feeds which im sure aid in keeping it well cooled/ventialted.
