ok, for getting bigger speakers is it just a case of getting adapters?

yeah halfords do adaptors that drop straight in and then you can fit either 13cm or 165mm speakers into them

the standard ones ive got sitting in front of me are 6".

iv only seen 17cm and 16.5cm adapters

as said the autoleads sak 3001 adaptors(ebay) will take 13cm or 16.5cm speakers.

You hay be ablt to squeeze 17cm speakers in but id stick to 16.5 if i was you as these were tight enough in mine.

make some door pods you can fit anything in then!
