starting to piss me off now.
at 3.5k revs on my x14xe astra mk3, it makes a noise like metal toucing metal. it only happens at 3.5k. going up or down the rev counter.

has anyone had this happen to them? any ideas?

btw, ive checked the heatshield and its not that.

anyone help?

my 16xe does this

its resonance in the exhaust causes a tinny metal rasp sound

but was after i fitted lexmaul exhaust & decat...

I've got the same problem since I fitted a stainless manifold and decat on my corsa sport.
Any way of fixing the prob?

thing is, ive only added a back box to my car, but thats been on for a year before the noise started.

Wheres the sound coming from on yours?
Mines from the mid/manifold area. From the rear it sounds ok.
